Samsung's The Frame stands out as a living room TV that doubles as wall art, with the matte look avoiding the giant black screen effect and drawing compliments when idle. The 120 hertz refresh rate and art mode are the main draws, while the Costco bundle adds extra coverage and a strong return policy. The Samsung interface is described as slow, and some features feel subscription heavy. Panel quality is also called out as weak for the price, so it suits buyers who value the design more than pure picture performance.
Common Questions (5)
It is an in-store YMMV deal, and app inventory can be misleading because stores shown as "in stock" may already be sold out. Some shoppers did get it at $699, but it can take calling multiple warehouses or checking the warehouse inventory tool to find one.
It works well as a main-room display if you want the TV to blend in as art instead of a black screen, and it can make the room look like a painting when not in use. It is less ideal for a basement or theater-style setup, and it is not OLED.
The Samsung UI is reported to be slow, but using an Apple TV bypasses most of the built-in interface. That makes the TV easier to live with if you mainly stream through an external device.
The listing says it includes 5 years of total coverage with an Allstate 3-year protection plan, but at least one purchaser did not see that coverage reflected at checkout and was offered the plan for $80 instead. It may be worth confirming the warehouse's exact bundle before buying.
The Costco deal is model QN65LS03FAFXZA, a 2025 Samsung Frame TV. It is also listed at $1000 on Samsung.com, down from $1800.

This is model QN65LS03FAFXZA from 2025. It's currently $1000 on Samsung.com, reduced from $1800 .
Personally I wouldn't want one this big. The 43" is more than big enough.
