IIt only took off the price of one item. The details said that the coupon could not exceed the price of the item. Because they apply the coupon to only one item, not off the combined cost of the two, the coupon will only apply up to the amount of one item. In my case, coupon $9/2, but the coupon is applied to one item which cost is 4.69. So coupon is only worth 4.69, not $9.
CVS is so shady.
Another ex. when using rewards with coupons or % off discounts... they deduct the reward dollars before applying any coupons or % discounts. Reducing the item price so that only part (if any) of the coupons apply because the coupon only applies up to the price of one item.
Prices are also much higher than other retailers.
