I've only used the old one and I didn't think it needed shit. I used it so much a few weeks ago I ran out of brads. Not a single jam the entire day. Also only nailer I've ever seen actually shoot the last nail in the mag/clip. It only did that twice but it did it!

It doesn't have gps but it does have hdmi 2.5 (WiFi enabled) reviews are mixed on the 4K performance.

I have both and will be selling the Gen1 version. This newer model is much smaller and lighter I can get into tighter spots with it. It feels more than a pound lighter than the specs. At this price I highly recommend upgrading to the newer model.
