This would be good for a ton of low amperage peripherals for a work station or a desk that aren't all being used at the same time, like someone that needs plug space for some led desk/wall lighting, phone charger, desk lamp, small desk fan, laptop charging brick, second/third display, a network switch, gaming desktop, and maybe even a raspberry pi to boot. It can get real messy fast with 6 plug extension cords and needing two or more to handle the wall bricks for random items not usb-c powered.One of these could provide a single plug strip for a work table with 4 people at it, each with a laptop charger, second monitor, peripheral device, and a phone charger.I'd use it to have at my garage workbench to plug in the multiple brands of 12/20 volt battery chargers from all these slick deals.

This statement assumes a power strip built to accepted safety designs/standards. Unfortunately, since the most reputable companies tend to avoid such product designs you're left with a category inclusive of more marginal manufacturers which may be willing to cut other corners.

This is FCC and RoHS safety certified, which is nothing to do with stress tests and high voltage stuff. RoHS is hazardous substances related, and FCC is radio frequency noise. I usually get a Trond surge protector or something with at least UL or ETL rated.

At that point get a high quality UPS with pure sine wave etc. Protect your investment.
