Works for me. In case anyone else is in the same boat:

Switch 1 and Switch 2 are the same price
Switch 1 is all on the cart, but limited to 30 fps
Switch 2 is 60fps, but a Game Key Card (ugh)
There is no upgrade path from Switch 1 to Switch 2

It's only a few dollar difference, but the PS5 version comes to $33.07 after tax. Should be noted. I'll likely wait until it hits $20-25 as a sale or coupon price in a few months. My backlog is stupid enough as is. 🤣

Works for me. In case anyone else is in the same boat:
  • Switch 1 and Switch 2 are the same price
  • Switch 1 is all on the cart, but limited to 30 fps
  • Switch 2 is 60fps, but a Game Key Card (ugh)
  • There is no upgrade path from Switch 1 to Switch 2

Wasnt the price for the switch 2 version 39.99? The switch 1 version was a few dollars cheaper correcr?

Edit- nvm i thought it was 39.99 when it was ordered. Even better.

I hope square Enix goes bankrupt. Locking out graphical upgrades and not willing to pay for full physical cards for games that can clearly fit in those switch 2 cards... Yeah, screw them

Buy the Switch 1 version and play it on an emulator at 4K 60fps.
