CRC Heavy Duty Silicone Lubricant is a versatile dry silicone spray that works well for rubber, plastic, and metal parts that need a clean, low residue lubricant. The comments point to strong results on window tracks, sliding doors, gate hinges, door locks, seat adjusters, sunroof tracks, bicycle belts, and even snow shovels or plows. It dries quickly, leaves little greasy residue, and is easy to clean up. The main caution is that this version says not for plastics, and it is not the right choice for treadmill belts or rusted fasteners. It looks best for light duty lubrication where minimal residue matters.
The spray can leave little to no greasy residue and dries quickly for easier cleanup.
The lubricant can be used on sliding window tracks and drawer rollers for smoother movement.
The product can help prevent snow from sticking on shovels or plows.
The lubricant can be used on outdoor gate hinges and latches without leaving a greasy mess.
The price can fluctuate widely, with the deal price sometimes rising back to around $11.30.
The product may not be suitable for treadmill belt lubrication because it is described as lightweight and low use.
The product can be incompatible with plastics because the label says not for plastics.
Shipping can take 2-3 weeks even when the item price stays at $2.97.
