This is a 12 pack of SPAM 25 percent less sodium, with the main draw being the lower per can price versus smaller packs and some warehouse club pricing. The cans can arrive as the promotional Hello Kitty limited edition version, which appears to be just different label art. Checkout can drop further with Subscribe and Save, Prime coupons, Amazon Day discounts, or access credits, and some orders landed in the low twenties or even under twenty dollars. The main caution is that the sodium is still very high, so it remains an occasional processed meat rather than a low sodium staple.

Reported checkout totals range from about $27.87 with Subscribe & Save and Amazon Day, down to $23.47 with a $5 Prime coupon plus S&S, and even $20.47 with a $5 access credit. One S&S price was also listed at $25.47 before extras.
At the posted Amazon price, the 12-pack works out to the same per-can cost as the 8-pack math, and commenters say S&S can beat Costco's sale price per can. Competing prices mentioned were about $19 at Costco and $19.98 at Sam's Club for classic or less-sodium SPAM.
Yes. One can is reported at about 1,500 mg of sodium, which is nearly a full daily allotment for many people, so it is best treated as an occasional processed meat rather than an everyday staple.
The 12-pack can arrive as the promotional limited-edition Hello Kitty version with reddish cans. The only difference is the printed label graphics, so it is the same SPAM product in collectible packaging.
The cans received were reported with expiration dates in 2029. That suggests a long shelf life, which fits a canned meat product and makes the 12-pack practical for stocking up.

This should last me another year.
Although I am not a cute character fan, I can confirm that the cans I got are indeed the promotional limited edition Hello Kitty ones, reddish color. YMMV of course. I heard that the manufacturer is selling these limited edition cans directly for $5 each. What a rip-off! It's just a different printed label. The only difference between a regular SPAM can and a limited edition one is just some unique graphics on a label. It is not worth the inflated markup, the can is not made of precious metals and jewels nor is it bundled with an exclusive trading card or bonus item. If you are a collector and like to eat SPAM then you can get 12 cans at a time to enjoy for a much better price at AMAZON.
