The T Life app promo bundle centers on free or discounted food, drinks, prints, and gas, with the Shell Fuel Rewards code giving $0.20 off per gallon for Gold members and the 7.Eleven soda and Walgreens photo offers working through the app. The KFC Snacker is the most discussed item, but it is tiny, often needs a $1 purchase, and some nearby locations do not participate. The app redemption flow can be finicky if location is off or the app is not installed, and California redemptions for the free soda showed unexpected tax charges. Overall, the strongest value is in the gas and easy add on freebies.
Common Questions (5)
No. Some nearby KFC locations do not accept the promotion, and the offer may not appear in every app or market. It can also require location services to be enabled for the T Life app to show properly.
It can. In California, the app has charged tax on the free soda, and buying in store may avoid app sales-tax calculation issues.
The Shell offer adds a $0.20 per gallon discount when the code is entered in the partner app, and Gold status can unlock the full amount. The code had to be added on Tuesday and expires at 11:59pm ET that night.
The Snacker is a very small sandwich built around an Original Recipe chicken tender. Adding another tender can make it feel like a more worthwhile snack, and some locations will let you add a free gravy dip cup, though sauce options vary by restaurant.
Download the T Life app, sign in to your T-Mobile account, and activate the offer under Benefits. Then save or redeem it by the listed deadline and use the unique code at checkout where required; the offers are limited to qualifying T-Mobile/Metro customers on eligible plans.

From my understanding CA tax laws state that sales tax applies to prediscount subtotal.Never mind the above is incorrect. 7-Eleven just has major issues calculating sales tax in app. Would recommend purchasing in store to avoid the apps negligent programming.
