Agreed. That said, I got this early June for $65 and it's fine for what it is. Was worried light wouldn't be bright enough for the kitchen but it's more than enough. It's nearly silent and somehow I installed it balanced with no weights required. Hate that they're disposable too as soon as the LED fails.
