pretty decent savings aside from a heads up on this being a single DIMM. HUB tested this not too long ago and that'll knock the performance by 10-15% in gaming vs dual rank https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_nMu1KFkOC4
ASUS specifies the other PCIe slot as 4.0 x1, so if you're using something like a thunderbolt AIC that needs x4 that likely won't work. Seems like they opted to use the lanes for 3 m.2 slots instead, which is probably the right call for most people.
Terrible bundle. 7k series X3D will run 90C+ constantly, mATX mobo is the worst form factor, be ATX or mITX, or be nothing.
Single stick of ram that will drop speed as soon as you try to use any other module with it. Loose timings (6000 CL36)

I have a 7800 X3D with an aio and while gaming the max it goes to is 70c and that's running Cyberpunk 2077 and is peak, most of the time it runs at 61 to 65c. Even when running cine bench it peaks at 81 but most of the run stays at 79c and that is right now in the middle of the summer when we are 104 107F ☹️

aio need time to get into steady state but yeah looks like the lower core clocks and single CCD keep temps more manageable on the 7700x3D. I'd still go for a 9k series X3D to get the L3 cache below the die where it belongs and avoid all temp/voltage issues.
here's a temp review from TPU: AMD Ryzen 7 7700X3D Review - Temperatures | TechPowerUp
7700x3d runs really cool comparative to the higher end ones and the dual channel penalty is very low on x3d processors. I just picked this up for a steam machine alternative with a $600 dollar newegg refreshed sapphire 9070 xt. All in for the same price as the 2tb steam machine price, for a machine that will at least double the performance and have a long life and upgrade path.

Correct when I start playing temps are mid 50s but after 40 min or so they settle at 61 to 65c with the occasional peak at 70. I don't play every day but when I play I play for like 1 and 1/2 hours.
