This 19 quart EUHOMY is a compact compressor fridge built for road trips, camping, and EV use, with real cooling down to below freezing and low power draw once it reaches temperature. It fits in Tesla subtrunks and can hold groceries, drinks, and lunch items, though the usable space is tight and the smaller size may feel limiting for longer trips. The app and Bluetooth are handy for monitoring, and the unit has held up well in long-term use. Heat buildup and ventilation matter, so it works best with room to breathe.

Common Questions (5)

  • For short weekend trips and occasional grocery runs it can work well, but the 19qt/18L size is tight for larger loads. Several comments describe it as lunchbox-sized or a little too small for significant road trips, while larger versions like the 26qt/32qt are preferred for more food.

  • The code may require selecting the seller ICEVIVAL123 and then tapping the arrow or Apply button before Continue. If it still fails, switching sellers through "Other sellers on Amazon" has reportedly fixed it.

  • Yes, the listed dimensions put it within the Model Y subtrunk space, and it has been reported to fit with room to spare. Because it generates heat and needs ventilation, leaving extra clearance is useful.

  • It uses a compressor, not a thermoelectric element, and can reach below freezing; one report says it goes to -4°F. Other real-world use puts it around 34-40°F for drinks and lunch, though hot-weather pull-down can take about an hour.

  • Yes, it can be powered from a battery backup, LiFePO4 battery, solar power station, or DC-to-DC setup. Once it reaches temperature, it reportedly draws little power, and using a battery source avoids draining the vehicle battery.

I just got mine delivered yesterday by UPS. Apparently UPS driver was upset or can't read as he placed "This side up" down. Anyway, letting it sit for 24 hours to be sure everything settles. One thing I did like is that they included 2 extra rubber feet for the bottom ot the cooler. My experience is that those little feet tend to walk off. Now I can replace them on my other cooler. I am going to use this cooler upstairs so I don't have to go downstairs to get a cold bottled water. Hope it works as well as my other one.

Looking for a powerstation that will run this for 6-8 hours tops. Any under $150 for recommendation? Thank!

This seems like a good deal but I noticed quite a few reviews saying it stopped working after a few months and their customer service is terrible. Tempted to spend another $50 on the Bouge RV model that's 28L.

How long does it take to cool in such circumstances? I imagine you leave it in your car until you need it, so likely the cooler is rather hot when you plug it in? That would be my use case as well.
On a hot day, it seems like maybe an hour to get down to 35°. But, still worlds better than things being out in the open in the car. As others have pointed out, the internal dimensions are smaller than you may believe (think large lunchbox size).

I've been unable to get this code to work on my phones the past few days. I want this box but not bad enough to try it from my computer.

Edit:
I'm still getting the error that this promotional code cannot be applied to my purchase.

How good is the insulation? Thinking that if I want to run this off a portable battery for camping, the insulation matters a lot for how often the motor has to run to keep things cool.

People mentioned how to power it. You can get a small LiFePO4 battery, put that in a small toolbox or fire protection bag, then run a cigarette port on a fuse (I'd recommend a small fuse), and that would work. You can also get a small solar power station, but you're probably looking at $50+ for something with a 12V outlet, but that would have everything for charging, too.

If you go the battery route, you can use a small DC to DC converter or a lithium technology trickle charger.
I kind of have the same use case as the top two guys Lunch Box Ben, but you have my creative juices flowing. Let's just say I have a switched cigarette lighter port at the rear of my vehicle, could I have a LiPO battery hooked to that in parallel so that when I switched off the vehicle it would keep power going for a bit? I already have one of these but noticed two short comings; they take a while to cool and they aren't insulated too great either (let's say you're doing a road trip and stop off at a restaurant for an hour and a half or something). First question, don't they make LiPO batteries which can be charged with 12v? I believe they make LiPO batteries which can be used as starting batteries for motorcycles and stuff (those would have to take a charge from a 12v system I'm assuming). Next question is a bit more complex and might take some digging (but open to anyone here in the know), but how much current would it take to charge one of those small LiPO batteries when drained? I'm thinking ~30amps.i could easily run 10 gauge wire for this cigarette lighter port if need be and hookup/hide a battery to it as well. I'm just spit balling ideas here. 🤷

You can use a DC to DC converter. The one thing is you'd want to make sure it's not freezing or too hot, and you also don't want it to fully discharge the battery or it will reduce battery life.

I'm thinking it could also be possible that you could find a power station that could work like a UPS, and shut off when it's dead, but also work when it's charging again.

My Bluetti PS70 ran my BougeRV fridge all day and only used a small amount of the battery.

I got the BougeRV 23 Quart for $142 using code RKFB (free shipping). Excellent reviews. Fits in Model 3 sub-trunk with a 1/2 inch gap on top which is needed for ventilation anyway.

Use Chase credit card for extra year of warranty on top of the 2 years.

No need to reinvent. It's already been invented.

It's only a problem for ICE vehicle. EV owners run these off the 12 volt plug multiple days without even giving it a thought.

That looks nice but is 3x the price of this one. And as already stated, I own the one in this post already. Was wondering if anyone used something like this [amazon.com]. It should have enough reserve to power this thing for 2 or 3 hours, it's small enough to fit in a small cubby I have in the rear of the SUV, and also be able to charge off of the 12v system. Should be durable enough too, just haven't looked into it much or how much current it takes to charge the battery.

If you build it right, it should last a lot longer, and should be easy to move to a different vehicle. If this fridge dies, you're buying another of the same, unless it's discontinued. Then you have to do it all over again.

Thanks a million for the feedback! FWIW in the internal size, I'm planning on getting the 31L based off the listed internal dimensions compared to the Igloo cooler I typically use however I figure the performance should similar. But thank you as well for the remake regarding size, there does seem to be a large difference is usable size vs overall size.

code didn't work for me a few days ago, but worked today. in for 1. I"m in the car enough and planning to go teardrop trailer camping a lot in my future, so giving it a try. I have way too many gadgets and coolers that I buy and try, and some or most just end up in the basement.
