This 19 quart EUHOMY is a compact compressor fridge built for road trips, camping, and EV use, with real cooling down to below freezing and low power draw once it reaches temperature. It fits in Tesla subtrunks and can hold groceries, drinks, and lunch items, though the usable space is tight and the smaller size may feel limiting for longer trips. The app and Bluetooth are handy for monitoring, and the unit has held up well in long-term use. Heat buildup and ventilation matter, so it works best with room to breathe.

  • The compressor-based cooling can reach below-freezing temperatures for frozen items on road trips.

  • The fridge can maintain cold temperatures in hot weather while running from a vehicle outlet.

  • The unit can fit in Tesla sub trunks with clearance when ventilation space is planned.

  • The app and optional external temperature sensors can help monitor sensitive foods more closely.

  • The promotional code can fail to apply on Amazon, including an error that the code cannot be applied.

  • The internal dimensions can be smaller than expected, limiting storage for larger road-trip loads.

  • The insulation can be poor, which may require constant operation to hold around 32°F in 90°F+ conditions.

  • Customer reviews reportedly claim the unit can stop working after a few months and customer service can be poor.

If 18l is too small, there are plenty of other size options with some very decent prices (some less so) on AliE with shipping from USA warehouses. Many options have phone app monitoring / control also dual zone. There are ways to sweeten the deal at AliE that you can't at Amazon. If you want to stick to Amazon and don't care about an app, her is a solid deal on a larger unit.

Wouldn't a good cooler be a better investment? Because it's more versatile. Can take on a road trip, or to the beach.
This is a cooler with a refrigerator built in.

That's fair. No reason you cannot put ice in it for periods when ⚡⚡ isn't available.

I have the 23qt. I absolutely love this thing. I have it plugged into the back outlet of my Model Y. Hardly uses any of the battery. I can bring my lunch in it on a 90 degree day and it stays 40 degrees until I eat it. I use it to bring food back and forth from our cottage without worry. It can sit in there all day. I don't know how I lived without it. I use it when I go to the grocery store for meat, milk, frozen stuff, etc. Also, the app is simple and doesn't require an account or login. You can monitor the temp while driving (with full self driving enabled, of course) and make adjustments. I also bought a couple of Govee temp sensors to really be sure I'm not freezing any lettuce, or going over ~40 degrees. If you have an EV and spend a lot of time in your car, this is a no-brainer, except you might want the bigger one. It's the same dimensions, except a bit taller. If you have a gas car, it may be less useful as I think they only last 2-4 hours with the engine off? But your use case will obviously vary. Buy it.

I think the app is actually important, paired with a couple of cheap Govee bluetooth temp sensors. Maybe not if you're using it for frozen food and you're just going to crank the temp way down. Or if it's for drinks and you don't care about temp variations. But for vegetables, and other more sensitive stuff, I want to know the temp and be able to adjust it without pulling over. As much as I love this thing, the internal thermostat doesn't seem to be 100% accurate. YMMV.

Is this like the ones 20 years ago that don't really work well?
Those are Peltier coolers. This has a compressor. Hence the price difference.

I have had this for almost 2 years now. I use it in my room for a drink fridge when I am not using it on short road trips. I recently bought a 42l from another generic brand for about the same price. I like them both. This one is constantly on. It uses 40w when the compressor is on and not much at all when it isn't.

Do you guys know how small this 18L is and you're paying $120 for a noname Chinese brand? It's smaller than drinks you put in your backpack. This is not worth this price and all the upvotes are Chinese bots
