Strategy:
If you do decide to buy it, consider adding a 3-year or 4-year protection plan at checkout. You will likely get your money back (not a new unit) dropping your cost to $34 for 3 years or $45 for 4 if it fails in the plan window.
Otherwise, if you want something built to last, stick with established brands like Frigidaire, GE, LG, or Midea where you get real warranty support and proven reliability.

Midea is the world's largest manufacturer of HVAC equipment and home appliances, with more than a few US offices, so there is that.
All that being so, nearly all dehumidifiers made today are disposable and designed to last 3-5 years if used conservatively. They do not have servicing ports, so if they develop a refrigerant leak, as they often do, they are done.
