I've been running the 3200 model for several years now and it's a workhorse. No issues with it. I would buy this one if my current one died today. The 5500 is a nicer model than this one posted, but I would not hold my breath on that one getting discounted anytime soon.

Of the 3000 or more drinks my 5400 has made, I would bet that less than 50 are with lattego. I'm the opposite of you, if mine died, I would probably go for a smaller unit, or at least one without it.

I am curious how the new iced drinks ones are.

If anyone's shopping at the higher end too, I noticed there's also an open-box Jura Z10 deal posted on SD with the full manufacturer warranty. Obviously it's in a completely different price bracket, but I thought it was interesting to compare what's out there.

I've been watching the De'Longhi's as bang for your buck. Bought one on eBay, but the seller shipped it in poor packaging and I had to return it.

Not sure about these higher end Philips, but the Baristina seems to do ok for me...for now.

Bought Philips 800 at Costco in September when last SD had it at 300. Loved it, but use Nespresso machine to froth while coffee/espresso is made on the Philips. If you're on the fence, I think Philips knocked it out with their platform and I'd go with this if my older model wasn't still going strong.

The 5500 is $650 renewed from Amazon right now. Like a lot of other folks here, I can't justify it because my 3-year old 3200 is still working perfectly, but if it did die, that's the one I'd get.

Jura's website has reconditioned reman units half the price and come with a 1yr warranty. All the work is done at their manufacturer facility in Mt Joy PA. They recent just built a bigger facility too as it's the nation wide distribution center.

I have the 3200 with Lattego. It's been working great for 3yrs now. I got it for $300, Amazon used. It was basically opened box, not used at all.
I see that they have a used one right now for $310.
