Get the centric from Woot. Have two sets and they went couple times to Europe and back without damages and roll very smooth.
Community Reviews
This Samsonite Omni set is a hardside carry-on and 28 inch spinner pair that stands out for its polycarbonate shell and, in the received sets, dual wheel spinner wheels. The luggage is described as holding up well over years of travel, including international trips, and staying looking new. The main concern is the wheel design, with some reports of single wheel versions that roll poorly and wear out quickly, while the carry on also opens the wrong way. A practical pick if wheel style and durability matter most.
The set can include dual-wheel spinner wheels for easier rolling than single-caster designs.
The luggage can hold up well on international trips without damage when the shell and wheels perform adequately.
The carry-on can still function properly even when it rolls less smoothly than dual-wheel models.
Samsonite warranty can cover wheel replacements when spinner wheels fail and need servicing.
The Omni version can roll poorly because it uses a single wheel per leg.
The carry-on can open the wrong way, which can be a frustrating usability issue.
Hardside shells can crack easily, which can reduce confidence in long-term durability.
Wheel durability can be weak because spinner wheels can be cheaply made and may require repeated servicing.
