The Anker SOLIX S2000 is a lightweight 2,010Wh portable power station that stands out for efficient home backup and UPS style use. The low price, free shipping, and free account login requirement make the deal especially sharp, and the unit is praised for strong inverter efficiency, fast under 10 millisecond switchover, and long cell life. It can run essentials like a fridge, kettle, fans, and device charging, and the 400W solar input can help in the right setup. The main tradeoffs are limited solar charging, no 12V output, and a 1,500W inverter that is less flexible than some alternatives. A solid fit if your priority is compact backup over heavy camping use.
The Off Grid Plus+ member discount auto-applies in cart and brings the price to about $507.68 with free shipping.
The unit is described as a lightweight 2kWh class power station with LiFePO4 longevity claims around 15 years to 80% capacity.
The S2000 is described as having UPS-like passthrough behavior with under 10ms switchover for quick power restoration.
The solar charging limitation still allows practical short trips, including powering an electric kettle and devices for a three-day camping trip without solar.
Warranty coverage may depend on buying from an authorized dealer, and the store's authorization status is questioned by shoppers.
The discounted price can disappear shortly after adding to cart, which can break checkout timing during the deal window.
Solar input is limited to about 400W max and lacks 12V DC output, which can reduce usefulness for camping and daily off-grid solar recharge.
The deal site's login and order-status flow is reported as slow and PIN-based, with the Shopify app suggested for checking updates.

Why would you want your computer to shut down when you have a battery capacity this big. Why wouldn't I just shut the computer down myself? You must be talking about when you are not using the computer, which is not my use case since it's off when not in use.
When some component randomly fails or the operating system manages to bork itself from not having a clean shutdown, you'll wish that you had it
The work-around is to get a cheap (but reliable) UPS with comms and run that between the computer and the power station
Edit: just to clarify I'm not saying that I'm using this as a UPS. I'm just answering to the other comment saying that it can be useful as a UPS as for myself, I'm using this more as a general tool for random power outage needs or a weekend camping trip.

How is this a problem if you have 8 to 10 hours of back up power to power down your computer? I don't get it. I can understand a small traditional ups with only a few minutes of power needing this feature but a huge battery?
Good luck

No I don't. Please explain. Maybe you don't get my use case? I work from home. If there's a power outage, I need to have the computer working for no more than 8 hours until my shift is over. Otherwise, I have to go into work. The capacity of this should be able to handle that so I don't think I will need the UPS to tell my computer to shut down.
