Very slick, but cons is that it's Class 1 so limited to 20mph. If you're truly on gravel then this should be fine but on the street it would be somewhat of a slug.

Totally don't need this, but I would bite if the Small were available at this price but those are still MSRP.

Ridiculous value for a mid-drive ebike with quality components (Microshift Sword groupset, TRP cable-pulled hydraulic brakes). Even the wheelset is tubeless-ready. I'm trying very hard to talk myself out of pulling the trigger on this...

insane bought the ozark trail emtb, love it...so tempting. However, most of the trails have rocks, and you need front suspension. I Never understood gravel bikes, no trail is going to just be sand or small crushed rock.

I live in the mountains of western North Carolina, and we have tons of mountain biking here, but also tons of public gravel roads throughout the national forests. We see groups come in to ride our roads, different groups to ride the trails, and other groups just to ride the gravel. It really is a biking trifecta here.

The idea that you think suspension is required is a myth. If I'm going for speed, I'm not riding a trail full of rocks. I'll slow down and ride over it. The rest of the time, I'm speeding and weaving through the trees

I've completely replaced my full suspension Cannondale for a gravel bike for my trail rides. Half the weight, twice the speed. Climbing hills have never been so fun.

At least here in CO, there's plenty of forest service roads that are groomed and running 45mm+ tires at lower PSI is fine. Lighter than a MTB and when you get to paved roads it's not a slug. I wouldn't take gravel bikes on our single track though.

I have the Ozark trail m.2 ridge plus emtb. It weighs 14 lbs more than the gravel. Yes slower on roads, but has a bigger battery and is more adept to the type of dirt roads we have in so cal. On YouTube there are 2 videos by an e-bike reviewer and he runs the all the bikes on the same track. The gravel was maxed out at 20 mph as was the emtb due to the limiter of class 1. The gravel kept slipping on modest trails that were uphilll. I had the bike in my cart, but went OOS, it's a steal at that price. However, if you were to get just 1 bike and do mostly trail and some road and live in the west where everything is rocky and hilly, the gravel would be a challenge maybe in a good way if you are into technical riding. Emtb is more forgiving as the tires grab onto rocks and dirt without slipping.

Ultimately 2 different class of bikes for different use cases and terrain.

Suspension isn't needed until you get into aggressive downhill and big drop/jump riding.

Got mine delivered this weekend and I am pleasantly surprised by the experience! It's so much fun to ride and for that price, it was definitely a steal! Shame that it went OOS so soon and only one size was available.
