This isn't battery. Unless you really need more then 2500psi or don't have electricity, why bother with a stinky gas engine that needs oil changes and breaks down more often.

It looks like this one uses a cord. I don't actually see any mention that it uses batteries at all.

I spent a long time trying to find a good pressure washer and was about to buy a very big and expensive gas powered pressure washer, but I'm going to see if I can make this work first. If it doesn't, then I'll get the gas powered one, but the maintenance and hassle have me leaning towards electric if I can get it to work ok.

Heed the comments above about gas vs electric. If you have a small job, get electric. If you have a larger job, the gas @ 2.4gal/min will be 2x faster than an electric one. I just finished pressure washing the concrete driveway, walkways, side concrete, back patio, back elevated patio, pergola beams for my house and it took me 2 whole days with a gas pressure washer and surface cleaner. WIth an electric, it would have added 2 additional days. My time for 2 whole days is worth more than $100 difference of a gas pressure washer. ($7/hour). My gas pressure washer has minimal maintenence. I use special gas from home depot, run it dry at the end, and it starts right up even after storing it for 1 year. All I do is check the oil, fill it with special gas and it starts right up.

For simple jobs like patio furniture, muddy bikes, and car washing, I use the 18V powered 600psi ryobi hand held pressure washer. Those 2 complement each other. You can even connect a 2L soda bottle filled with water for a portable power washer with no cord or hose.

Just FYI, the biggest thing with most of the "special gas" you can buy at hardware stores is just 100% gas (no ethanol), ethanol can do some damage and absorb water over time. If I can, I run 100% gas in everything with a carb; this can usually be found at gas stations in some locations. Instead of paying $8-10/quart you pay $4-5/gallon (depending on your specific location.

This is a good comment and info. Unfortunately the nearest ethanol free gas station is over 100 miles away so I am stuck paying thru the nose at the hardware store.

I have both 2100 psi Sunjoe and 33000psi Ryobi gas one. The electric one has been good for 5 years for regular house use. I bought the gas one 3 years ago in anticipation that electric one is broken. But it turned out it's just the nozzle got rusty and clogged. So I am still using the electric one.

Stabil 360 is stabilizer plus ethanol treatment, has been good to me for both 2 and 4 stroke motors. Recommend giving it a look.
