Thats a stupid price, buy now, think later. I recently purchased a Samsung A11+ and a folio keyboard case. Wonder which one I'll end up keeping. The Samsung is more powerful, but it is amazing the number of apps I can't get installed with it (even trying to side load legit copies) since it is running Samsung's version of Android. Even Amazon shopping.

FWIW, BB is currently letting you ship to home. Local stock shows near me as well (central NC) but that always seems to be a crap shoot.

What apps are you having trouble installing? I've never had issues loading apps on any of my Samsung phones or tablets.

"Samsung's version of Android" (maybe you mean OneUI?) is just Android with their own software on top. It's not something that should prohibit app installation.

You're might be referring to hardware limitations or might be installing apps for mismatched hardware specs.

Correct. Either Actually. More than a few apps refuse to install even if I try to side load them, Google play store blocks the install at the last moment (even if it wasn't involved). I can only assume this is a newer version of Android behavior or perhaps Samsung shoehorned into their version. I'm sure I could download apks from sketchy sites but I do not tend to do that on devices I do banking and other important stuff with.

More than a few apps refuse to install even if I try to side load them, claim wrong version of Android (or complain it is a tablet) even if we all know they'll work fine. I'm sure I could download apks from sketchy sites but I do not tend to do that on devices I do banking and other important stuff with. Especially apps that handle my personally data / credit card details directly, for example Amazon.

Apps I've had this issue with:
Amazon Shopping
Multiple paid games (like many of those from a few weeks ago that were 10 cents)
Samsung's own password manager that shipped on my S25

And yes, I meant their customized distro of Android. Samsung isn't has heavy handed as say the Fire Tablet's OS is but theirs is much more locked down, or their tentacles in everything, vs some other almost vanilla Android installs you'd find on a different brand of phone / tablet / retro handheld.

I think when you first setup Samsung device you have to unchek blocked unknow source app. Probably you missed it .
