I think 360hz is a bit overkill for my pc. Costco located in the City of Industry, CA also has a MSI MAG 274QPCT 240hz QD-Oled X24 for $349.99. Is this a good deal? They all look the same but have different names... So confusing...

I would check out this channel. It's very informative and might have the model you're interested in. I believe they have a video that ranks the best 4k monitors of 2026 (so far).

I have this monitor. Got it for $450 during holiday season. Read up on configuring the pixel cleaner to run at the max amount of hours, because it forces you to run it. Also configure windows to never turn off the monitor, so that way it can run the cleaner when the monitor is in stand by when you're away from the pc.

360hz is overkill for most at 1440, but it doesn't mean you need to run 360fps on everything. That said, yeah MSI is also guilty of the ultra confusing naming scheme with their monitors, the Costco variant is in a similar class, 27" 1440 QD-OLED, but just not as "feature rich". Obviously the refresh rate is one, and yeah they charge more for bigger number, but the Costco one also isn't as bright as this one, now whether or not that matters is definitely a you situation, i.e. if you play in a brightly lit room, or in a darkened room with no windows. HDR won't be as poppy because of the brightness difference (if that matters to you). And unfortunately most reviews tend to do the more "flagship" model and these lesser versions that they sell at discounts don't have as many, if any, reviews.

That said, it's probably a good choice for a first OLED monitor before you know what you want, the best thing about Costco though is if you find out you don't like it, you can return it within that 90 day window for displays.
