Dawn Platinum Plus Lemon Scent Dish Spray Refill is a versatile cleaner that works well beyond the sink, especially on car rims, engine bays, nonstick pans, and breast milk bottles. The spray helps apply the right amount of suds and can lift built up grime with little scrubbing, sometimes after a short soak. The refill price is a recurring drawback, and the spray is described as thinner than regular Dawn Platinum. A homemade dilution with Dawn Platinum, water, and rubbing alcohol is often used to cut the cost.
Car owners cleaning brake dust off coated rims, because it can lift grime brush-free when the wheels stay wet and the spray is rinsed promptly.
Parents washing breast milk bottles during pumping, because the spray makes bottle cleanup easier.
Home cooks rescuing a stuck nonstick pan, because it can loosen residue after sitting overnight.
DIY detailers cleaning an engine bay, because it worked well there.
People who want a premium refill without mixing their own cleaner, because the refills are pricey and homemade dilution can deliver similar cleaning power.
Shoppers expecting the spray to match regular Dawn Platinum dish soap, because the formula can feel watered down.

I started doing this as well. Works great. Get 1 power wash bottle, refill via the method above (ratios online, customized to your preferences), and you are golden. Probably 1/5 the cost, same cleaning power.
