Yes this was a favorite for walls and ceilings compared to standard wood poles or holding the roller frame directly. This may not be useful for very high reach areas.

This is the perfect length for painting normal room walls. It keeps you from having to bend over to put on the paint or to stretch high to reach the top of the wall. Takes a lot of the fatigue out of painting. Extending to 4' makes it easier if you happen to have 9' or 10' ceilings.

The choice to use the 2-3' range lol but the purdy version is vastly superior to the budget brand. Those are going to snap sooner or later and will have some flex in the handle

I had one back in the day. Most of my existing rollers, cleaning brushes etc would not fit the proprietary threading on the Purdy. If you want to use more expensive Purdy stuff all the time then this might be ok.

The head is Universal. It should fit most attachments. You can find people showing you this fact on youtube. Adjustable in 3 inch increments

FWIW- those Anvil twist lock extendibles are very disappointing.
