This is a tiny dedicated MP3 player aimed at screen free listening, travel, workouts, and kids who want music without phone distractions. It is very light, adds Bluetooth 5.3, FM radio, a headphone jack, and microSD expansion, and it can be handy for offline use on planes, camping, or in the car. The main concerns are storage and sound quality, since the 32GB version can feel tight, the advertised memory setup is confusing, and some reports call the audio flat or the Bluetooth unreliable. It makes the most sense if you want a simple standalone music device.

  • Travelers and commuters who want offline listening, because it is compact, lightweight, and works well on planes or during power outages.

  • People who already own MP3 files and want a separate music device, because it keeps music off the phone and avoids call or notification interruptions.

  • Kids learning to listen without a phone, because it supports screen-free music time with a lightweight dedicated player.

  • Listeners with modest libraries who want expandable storage, because the player supports microSD expansion beyond the built-in capacity.

  • People with large lossless libraries, because playback can be limited to files under about 900 kbps and some FLAC rips exceed that.

  • Listeners who want streaming apps or easy syncing, because loading and keeping MP3s current is a hassle and offline Spotify support is not built in.

  • People who need reliable Bluetooth playback, because Bluetooth can drop out quickly and fail with some libraries.

  • Buyers expecting polished audio-player software, because custom equalization may not work and tracks can sort by filename instead of tags.

Except there is no internal memory. Remove the SD card, and there is no memory at all, not even an option to select it if it was available. The instructions do not match the unit, as the unit was modified but the instructions are for an older outdated unit.
What you miss is this has either 32gb BUILT IN memory or 64gb BUILT IN memory, PLUS SD card expansion. I have a 128gb expansion sd card. Yes, this does add capacities, not force you to select one or the other.

If I could sync my spotify to it then this would be great. Loading up mp3s (and having current ones) is way too much of a hassle these days. Back in the day this would have been golden.
There are slightly bigger and more expensive, but not by a ton iirc, on Amazon that can do basic browser and apps.

Then my unit is faulty.

It came with a 64GB SD card installed, and when removed, there is no other memory.

If it had built-in memory, why would they include a SD card?

Amazing so many people are confused about why this exists. Nostalgia items are on the rise and I would predict going to keep going stronger as we all get dished out more and more subs and AI slop. That said, this sort of temu cheap plastic imitation of retro tech is interesting-- it's kinda like the anbernic of retro music.

Something is indeed wrong. On the ad, it asks which version of memory storage to select from. You are saying yours is not internal? Yours is a memory card of the default memory? I've only gone off wha mt the ad says. It doesn't read like that, but either way for me, I would remove the 64gb/32fb memory card and add a 128gb card, therefore my assumption is totally false. Still, cheapest music player for the buck by far. 64gb card costs more than this by itself nowadays. Wow.

My son who's ten recently got in to music. So I bought him an old Nokia windows phone. Put an old 128gb SD card I had laying around and loaded it up with music. He loves it. And everything on it is dead except the stand alone apps. Works flawlessly and has good sound and can connect to Bluetooth. I was trying to find a way to get a GPS tracker on it, but couldn't figure it out. IIf you have a old ad card laying around I'd suggest this route.

And where are these "kids" getting legally obtained mp3 files from? They have cd's? Lol.
Amazon literally sells mp3s and if you buy albums off Amazon they give you the album in mp3 format. And if you've been listening to music and you have kids more than likely you have tons of physical albums that you can rip or have ripped over the years. It's not brain surgery guy.

Lemme help you out...

"Portable MP3 Player Expandable to 128GB: Built-in memory stores thousands of songs, and supports up to 128GB micro SD card (not included)." Math dont hurt. 64gb (internal) plus 128gb (sd card, not included). We are here to help. No SD cards? 64gb. 128gb SD card? 192gb.
I bought one and posted earlier in the thread that the 64GB storage advertised for this device is on an SD card and not internal. Others have posted this too. Its a generic 64GB SD card inserted in the one card slot the device has.

Not sure of your question, but you can purchase music from either of those sites from a desktop, laptop, tablet or a phone. Just need an account, a, browser, and a method of payment.

I recommend bandcamp if the artist is there because you can choose between different formats to download (including FLAC), and more $ gets to the artist

This is for people who knows what they are looking for and want to have lightweight and dedicated music player without any distraction from the smart phone. This thing is only weight 31 gram, compare to a smart phone that is 200g. I would say this is a decent deal, but this is most likely temu quality from China, which you shouldn't expect any good user experience from it.only if you just want a light weight player that you can play music like old days
If you're using your phone as a music player, you're probably using a ton of data. These mp3 players don't need a wireless connection.

Received mine yesterday. Bluetooth is horrible; it loses signal after 5 seconds of playing. Also not compatible with my entire music library. Shows decoding failed. Returning mine.
