For what it's worth, I ordered the earlier refurbished eBay deal for $229 last week and they're essentially like-new - for anyone that wants a cheaper entry point. This is a decent price for a new pair though. They sound really good and I find them to be very comfortable - I'm reaching for the XM6 over my AirPods Max 2 now.

I have this set and for like 10 years have used WH-1000XM4s. I have never once had an issue with Bluetooth. They have always connected to my phone and/or computer without an issue. So I'm not sure what challenges you're talking about, but maybe it was specific with your device.

For what it's worth, I ordered the earlier refurbished eBay deal for $229 last week and they're essentially like-new - for anyone that wants a cheaper entry point. This is a decent price for a new pair though. They sound really good and I find them to be very comfortable - I'm reaching for the XM6 over my AirPods Max 2 now.

AirPod max is really heavy on your head. Xm series NC performance is sub par comparing to Bose quiet comfort series . For me , Bose is the best. Sony does not do a good job for BT connection. I filed a bug report on XM5 not sure if they had fixed . All of headset do not have good mic NC that is really weird. If anyone finds a good NC mic headset please let me know. Side note Beat studio plus is the best NC mic . I tried numerous products - this is a hidden gem.

thats the only way to go for these, Ive owned every series of these since the xm2 both new an refurbished on ebay and ill never buy them new again
