is it true the 115v is less reliable than a 203v? heard the 115 strains more to do the same v 203 hence causing more "wear and tear" on electronic parts. been looking for one (or two to separate the loft part) for the shop and if I can get away with the 115 being equally reliable, that'll save me some wiring cost.

It also makes them cheaper (less copper) which is why you see better prices on the higher voltage systems.
You need a split-phase 120/240V inverter which are more complicated (it's essentially two inverters in one box) and usually meant for higher power situations (partial house, workshop) ... both of which are going to push up the minimum price.
It would be /nice/ if the manual for this listed it's inrush (surge) current and operating current/breaker size.

Unless you live in a warm climate where you would rarely use the heat, that extra $64 would be well worth it.
