I just threw mine out even though it was working. It is loud as hell for how little off of a breeze it actually provides. Unless you're less than 3 ft away and standing right in front of it, it provides no comfort.

I agree with this statement. I have the same one and it's not very good. I didn't throw it out though. It's used occasionally.

There's these things that hold it together on the front, metal doohickies. Take them out with the thingermabob tool. Then you can clean the blades and inside of the fan. Remember to suck before you blow!
