If you were considering that JBL Studio 6 deal.
This is well reviewed and very comparable.
Especially when you consider you get 5.0 for close to the price of ONE JBL!
edit: review from 2006

yes if you have the room - this is a step up in quality from that line of speakers
I'd buy these just for the floor standers if I had room to use one as a center.

It also got decent reviews & received Best Buy home theater system from EISA in 2018-2019!
Here is a review from same source db999md provided for this system.
Keep in mind, it's based on the $1500 price tag!

all I need now is to find a solid receiver to drive them with, and a quality budget subwoofer - and later on, I'll have to get some heights... I'm actually thinking about doing the c-note diy speakers as heights due to their incredible value (they measure pretty decently (particularly when crossed somewhere around 80-100hz), they have good directivity while also having good dispersion, and they have relatively flat response similar to the energy speakers so I think they'll integrate well when i'm ready (I also don't mind building speaker kits and it should be a fun time, I have electronics and building experience).
between what I can do with room correction and eq on whatever receiver I pick up and measurements with rew and my calibrated measurement microphone, I'm confident that I should be able to tame and integrate these to make for a very tasty listening experience.
