I'm already in the Kobalt 40v ecosystem. Is this at all worth it? I saw Milwaukee version but it's super expensive.

Neither. Type in power station in the search bar, you'll get tons of better deals and much better prices.

Seems like missing the point of the question. This is about versatility not about using this also your only system. I'm not convinced at $499 but tempted.

I am also in the kobalt 40v system. I would need to see $400 or less to consider.

this doesn't make sense to me...only comes with 2 6aH batteries (less than 500 wH) and you won't get 1800 watts output.

something like this gives you approx. 1000 wH for half the price:

A generator would be soooo much cheaper but I guess I get it for those who are in the ecosystem.

Very neat concept for charging multiple batteries and putting batteries to use. However, reviews indicate a few flaws thst render this product obsolete, amd certainly not worth $500 bucks. Hopefully next version is ready for showtime.

I get what you're saying.... compared to affordable power stations, this is a rip off. I think this is more for somebody who has a bunch of Kobalt 40v batteries around. This would make them much more versatile if they ever needed em.

Ryobi makes a similar one. I've considered it several times due to having several compatible batteries. But I just can't get myself to pull the trigger. Too overpriced for what you're getting. Subpar specs. For example, the ryobi version only gets a maximum of 60w solar charge.

They need to get the specs up to speed. And the price needs to be reasonable for what you're getting. Then they could probably really have something with these...
