Yes, they start room temperature and slowly rise. I have 4 now (not this particular blanket though.)

The blanket warms slowly up until it reaches your body temp, then become *just another insulator on top of you.

i bought another cooling blanket and while it's cooler than a sheet, it feels almost like laying under a curtain or slippery gym shorts. it also has a weird weight to it.. it's hard to describe. i don't love it but i didn't love my sheet either so i'll probably just stick with the cooling blanket until i find a different/better option . probably just need a higher quality sheet

I bought a cooling blanket from Costco 2-weeks ago. I like it. It's cold when you first put it on. It doesn't hold heat in If I shift the Costco blanket I can move the cold section onto me until it matches my body temp. I'm going to keep the Costco blanket , it works for me

If this is similar to the "cooling comforter" I bought a few days ago, it's not worth it. It feels great initially but 10 minutes in, I'm burning up. I'd recommend the blankets that have the large waffle pattern with looser threads for heat to escape. They are easy to pick, but they work so much better!

Isn't it cooler to sleep without a sheet or blanket?

You will sleep 50% cooler if you stick out one of your legs from under your blanket. 🤣

I'm a cold sleeper so this won't work for me. Anyone know where I can get a heating air conditioner?
