I don't think this is a good deal at all. Pretty sure has been much cheaper and it's not a great amp.

Katana gen 3 50w have been $225 and is a much better amp. (I owned both, kept the katana. )

I've only ever seen it as low as $380 in the past couple years.
I would get this if I didn't already have more than one. It is an excellent price.
I haven't tried the Katana.

Normally I would recommend choosing the GTX100 instead (better speaker, and comes with foot pedal). But at this price, it is a decent deal.

The Fender amp models are really good on the GTX.
