Great if you like weak coffee like my grandma did.

This is somehow the type of coffee literacy I'd expect from someone who buys Folgers.

I buy only European instant coffee, and also I am trying to switch to regular coffee, but the instant one is so convenient.

Define weak. Do you mean less caffeine? Alexa says:

You are intentionally insulting my preference for Folgers. People make personal attacks when they don't have something relevant to say.

You pay less for toxic chemicals from Folgers or Nescafe though.

Canada does not have a climate equivalent to the small parts of Europe where coffee is experimentally grown. Experimental greenhouses exist in Canada but there are no large-scale or commercial outdoor coffee farms in Canada. The climate simply does not support it. Are you sure that Tim Hortons is grown in Canada? If so then probably indoors, not a Mediterranean climate like Europe.

My comment was mostly in jest, but Tim Horton's is a Canadian company. No idea where they source their coffee from though. However TBH the original comment I replied to didn't really deserve much reverence since they seem to treat all European coffee the same and disregard any non-European sourced beans. Sounds like you may understand that (certain) climates in Europe produce very high quality coffee, while other regions....not so much. Europe has too many different regions and climates to treat as a single source. They seemed to believe membership to the EU is all that was required for top tier brew Wink

I do not know much except I know that Canada does not have the type of climate that Columbia does. Otherwise I only know what I know from asking AI. It indicates that Canada is lousy (my interpretation) for growing coffee. It also indicates that the climate in most of Europe cannot grow coffee. I think we can agree that anyone that considers European coffee to be superior is not going to be convinced otherwise.
