I've built a couple Coby kits. Decent quality, good structural engineering. The two kits I built have a bit more polished appearance than many LEGO sets. Smooth flowing lines and very minimal exposed brick studs instead of the 8-bit herky-jerky appearance many brick kits present.

The usual price for this set is around $50-$60 which would be optimistic for a LEGO brand set, and is just ridiculous for a third party brand with only 425 pieces. The Woot! price seems more realistic, maybe a good deal, but not what I'd consider a steal at about 7¢ a brick.
