SAME! Entire family really enjoyed this series, and none of us knew anything about the game. It was soooo well done.

First season was amazeballs, but second suffered from trying to cram two seasons worth of plot into one and it felt overstuffed and rushed as a result. Still good, but should've been two seasons. Beautiful visual design and great vocal performances from Hailee Steinfeld (Vi) and Ella Purnell (Jinx). If this was 4K I'd be all over it.

Also, I've never played the game and knew nothing about the world or characters going in, but it doesn't matter. Gamers probably get Easter eggs out of it, but Normies will be fine.

Also also, it shows how to do a female-led show without devolving to girlbossery and really shows how Supergirlboss botched doing a "messy" woman because Vi and Jinx are incredibly damaged people - Jinx is borderline psychotic due to her traumatic life - but they're still tragically compelling characters you root for.

As another person who knew nothing about the game, this was a show I throughly enjoyed watching with our teenage kids. Compelling storyline, wonderful visuals, memorable soundtrack.

There was nothing wrong with the pacing. A third season would have led to a draw-out story that would have lost its charm. The build-up and action were fast-paced, which made sense. I've watched it twice, and at no point have I felt like the story was too rushed. In fact, I would probably like the show less if they had an entire season extra to fill.
