Community Reviews

Lavazza Espresso Barista Gran Crema is a mass produced whole bean espresso blend that pulls well for daily espresso and pour over. The 2.2 pound bag goes a long way, with only about 25 grams needed per day and freshness dates reported as very recent. The blend is praised for tasting close to pricier beans and for working especially well as espresso, though the Arabica and Robusta mix is not for every palate. A few Costco price checks also put it lower in store, making it a practical long lasting option if the flavor profile fits.

I have never seen the Gran Crema beans stocked in any of the warehouses close to me but the Espresso one is still top notch.

This bag of beans is the sole reason I stoped using my espresso machine and went back to Keurig. It's the worst tasting coffee I ever had and I bought some 10 year old stale grocery store beans and none made coffee as bad as this.

I just need to throw it away and get some decent beans but I keep forcing myself to drink it because I still have like 2 lbs left. It's only $20 waste but still… Keurig tastes amazing compared to this so I just keep using it.
