What are you babbling about? They always have 2.5, 4, or 5ah at highest in blower bundles. Nobody would use a 10ah in a tool like a blower.

At 7.5 pounds, a 10ah would kinda suck to carry around in a handheld tool unless you're using the backpack power adapter (not sure if that's still a product).

A (perhaps) interesting note that might explain why they include the 4ah battery instead of the 5ah with these blowers: the current-gen 4ah battery pack can deliver more power than either generation 5ah pack (3024W vs 2016W). Since blower marketing is a game of ever-increasing CFM values, they need to squeeze as many watts from the battery as possible while still being user-friendly even if it means short runtime.

As of about a year ago, the 6ah pack could deliver more wattage than any other Ego battery which is why they include them with their commercial backpack blower instead of larger batteries. I'm a little surprised they don't bundle it with their top-end handheld blowers just so that they can claim 1000 cfm before their competition.

Looks like the price keeps changing. It was $440 for me yesterday. Grabbed one today to replace my 670 that sucked in the draw string from my shorts and blew out the impellers. Thanks OP. You forget how much you use this and how convenient it is until you have to dig out the old corded blower.
