Primarily because anything with audio should have a KNOB to control the volume level IMO. Turning the volume up and down by continuously pressing a button is annoying.
$108 isn't bad. I've seen used ones go for around $60. Before Covid, I actually got one for $45 shipped, but yeah, I got a lot of stuff cheaper before covid.
It's a basic radio and it does the job. I'd recommend the $15 bluetooth adapter if you just want to listen to your phone and don't care too much about sound quality though. Much cheaper and easier than using this. Again, if you don't care too much about sound quality, cuz the bluetooth adapters are below average, but not terrible.
I remember when I was looking for a friend, Pioneer had a nice touch screen for really cheap, but the reviews were awful. It was the AVH-120BT.
