I was looking at it for it on offers but no this is the actual menu price. So before disliking this post understand that it is the regular menu price not an offer.
Good deal 👍
wish they still had free fries with $1 purchase Fridays
I think it's up to $3 or 5 purchase now? lol
What I would do is shop around. Look out for my Dairy Queen (DQ) posts on Monday. Sometimes, Dairy Queen will have a weekly Large Fries with any purchase (usually the minimum is whatever the cheapest item at your DQ is). Sonic has deals where you can get a free small side with purchase (usually replenishes every Sunday).
The bigger chain restaurants like Burger King, McDonald's, and Wendy's have already been shown that they cannot keep a profit margin unless they raise their minimums and so the smaller chains are winning.
You can have the deal that you are looking for; however, you just have to look around a bit more.

Unfortunately, it's excluded from being stacked with any other offers anyway. All the offer terms say "Small Classic Chocolate and Vanilla Frosty are excluded as qualifying purchases." They started doing that lately with things that are discounted on the menu.

The one that I hate the most is the daily deal in the app.
I can get any size drink for $0.99, but I have to purchase something. So I subtracted the $0.99 for the $2.99 and bought myself a hamburger for $1.99. I end up paying like $2.98 for a $2.99 and possibly more, if I bought the two items together.
But when I want to buy a Watermelon Sprite, which I am always willing to try new things and more than likely will have used the offer to try that new item; I cannot because for that deal, one cannot buy the Watermelon Sprite. So odd! I would not have mind to spend $2.99 for a $2.00 discount off the $2.99 ($0.99 any sized soft drink and then end up paying $3.98 for everything. Wendy's just does not allow it.
