If there is a PM meter in your house you can monitor it directly, or sensor in the unit set it to auto and forget it (I only recommend these and will only buy these)
Similarly, the DIY options with 120/140mm PC fans is the cheapest and most reliable. Probably pair it with a Ikea ALPSTUGA (now $35) and a tp-link p110m ($28/4-pack) to a matter thread to trigger it yourself.
But I've got two winix C545 (one bearing starting to get annoying I'm going to try and DIY repair) and two C610 (just bought another from costco as I saw it was 99.97 and had the star of death) and only bought generics for the C545 (replaced them when the app called for it since they are like $6/each)

Bought the 610 and I'm honestly not a fan of it.
Definitely did not like the way the filters were stuck together, very much prefer the 545 filter setup.
