Not really meant for your everyday use or long showers. People normally buy these type for RV/Van Life or portable setups. However, if your water pressure sucks where you live, you might get away with this thing as a cheap option for a while without it failing on you. This one is a toss up for sure depending on what you need it for.

For $13.49, this seems like a decent buy if you're looking for a handheld shower head. I wouldn't expect miracles from the filter, but if the spray pattern and pressure are good, that's already a win at this price.

I bought a different junk off brand (like this one) after seeing 'the original' advertised. I believe that it operated about as intended, and that turned out to be terrible. The mist setting is awful. just wet everywhere but in an annoying you cant open your eyes kind of way. The main outside spray was marginal but had a massive gap in the middle (which I seek to avoid in my sprayers usually)

A lot of these faucets, taps, etc from China test positive for lead and sometimes nickel. Just get a name brand item that has been inspected. It will be better quality too.

I have this exact shower head and the water pressure is very intense and does not have a calm setting. I personally would not recommend this shower head to those that like nice/calm water pressure.

In Cali, you can't get full pause handheld shower handles so only way is these china ones. You can remove restrictor if you want full pressure. These won't last, but they are a bout a 5th the cost from a decent name brand one. No brainer for me. 5 of these over one name brand one. Use one for a couple of years and toss it and get the next one.
