I purchased a stepladder similar to this for work. I will say the 800lbs weight limit is delusionally "optimistic". I'm a big guy, but nowhere near 800lbs, and the steps sag and bow when I step up on it to the point that I tend to avoid using it. This one may possibly be built heavier duty but it doesn't look it and if you truly need something to safely hold a heavy weight then just consider this a possible warning.
