I thought this game would have dropped in price on all platforms by now like most Lego games typically do. Good deal ! I can't wait for a similar price on ps5. I have been watching reviews of this game since its release and it looks great imo!

I paid $70 for this at launch with zero regrets! I am not even a Lego person; i just caught a glimpse of open world gameplay on yt, and i was like "hold up, this is basically an Arkham game in Lego world." i bought it straight away.

It does not disappoint for Rocksteady Batman Arkham enjoyers. Of course there is that "goofy" Lego stuff which may turn people off, i was able to see past it and i had a total blast. Most enjoyable game of the year so far after Resident Evil 9

Uh, it's only been out for a couple of months my dude. It took Skywalker Saga awhile to come down in price, I expect this will be similar. This is one of those I want to play it but I can wait until it's 15 or less kind of games. If that takes a year that's fine.

At 45$ I'd buy today but I get it! I can wait. I been waiting for Astro bot to get below 30$ a couple years now! Target ymmv winter time made it to 32$, I searched but never found! Found a gt7 22$ while searching so not a complete waste of time!

Lego games typically drop pretty quick. This was released about 3 months ago and is almost 50% off. I imagine by Black Friday 2028, it's $5. Lego Horizon is unique in that they are using another video game franchise's license. I imagine Sony will have a contract that has a price floor that's a bit higher only because they don't want to see their IP sold for the price of a gas station coffee like some Lego games have in the past.

Like others, I'm waiting for a deeper sale. But I think some folks on this thread are exaggerating how fast prices drop for Lego games. The typical sale price for skywalker saga was $20 after 3 years. By 3 and 1/2 years, the sale price dropped to $15, and now after 4 years, the typical sale price is $10. Important caveat is that you need to ignore Epic store giveaways, YMMV sales, or gray-market keyshop deals.

Of course, nobody has a crystal ball and it's difficult to say how well the price will hold up, but one can reasonably expect this game to follow the skywalker saga trend. In general, would predict ~$40 after a year, ~$30 after two, ~$20 after three, ~$10 after four, $5 floor after that. As with most games, there will be temporary dips during Thanksgiving sales (so the game should be $40 this thanksgiving itself even though that would be less than a year).

Of course, there is a good chance there might be an Epic giveaway at some point since games from the same publisher have shown up there. And it's almost certain to show up on GamePass / PlayStation Plus Premium at some point.
