no, i would not buy an extra battery there when these deals are half the price for battery and tool. i just got a chainsaw and 5 amp 60 volt battery for a fraction of new battery/charger prices.

And that's just the regular batteries. I don't know if the Greenworks Pro are any different. I couldn't find a GW Pro 80v 4.0ah battery on their site except for the "renewed" ones and those are sold out.
This is a much better deal for $20 (+$20 restocking) to get a charger and new battery.
Now knowing their policy is to charge a restocking fee, it makes more sense to buy these things from best buy, costco, walmart, etc instead of direct.

UPDATE: Best Buy now says my package is on its way.
I did pickup thinking that might be more definite. Today's the day it was supposed to be ready but I haven't gotten notice yet.
Edit: I just called them and their AI help now says next Tuesday. So there's a week delay for pickup as well.

Think I'm gonna just return it and get this with the battery and charger. Can always sell those separately for more than $40 and come out on top.
