Thanks! Bought this a couple of weeks ago from Costo, need to see if they'll do a price adjustment.
Monitor is sharp as expected. Adobe colorspace is in the low 90s, and the Dell 4K that it replaced was 99%, but I haven't noticed a difference. 6K is a bit weird, as image viewers and old plugins for Photoshop don't scale correctly. Inputs are a disappointment (miniDP?). I had to buy a longer miniDP cable, as the one provided is too short, and I didn't have one. Haven't tried the Thunderbolt connection either.
Dell's 32 inch UltraSharp 6K monitor stands out as a sharp, high pixel density office and creative display with useful extras like a webcam, speakers, KVM, Ethernet, and strong Mac friendly one cable convenience. The 6K resolution makes text and spreadsheets look noticeably cleaner, and the price is being framed as unusually strong for this class. The main tradeoffs are the 60 hertz refresh rate, which feels dated for gaming, and some setup quirks around scaling, cable length, and input quality. A few reports also raise concerns about panel uniformity and ghosting, so it fits best as a productivity focused screen.
Mac users doing office or creative work, because the 6K panel is praised as a meaningful upgrade for coding and static productivity.
Office and creative professionals who need a high-resolution workspace, because the monitor is described as a 6K office and creative work display with strong sharpness.
Laptop users wanting one-cable desk connectivity, because USB-C can carry the display signal while also enabling convenience features like a dock-style setup.
People who need accurate color matching for print or design work, because the panel can land in the low 90s for Adobe color space and may show uneven tint or brightness.
Shoppers who want a visually refined monitor on their desk, because the design is described as unattractive and the yellow graphic can be headache inducing.
Yes. At 6K, some image viewers and older Photoshop plugins may not scale correctly, and the monitor's high resolution can require 200% scaling for comfortable use. The upside is that text and images can look much sharper even with scaling.
It is aimed at office and creative work, and the 6K resolution is especially appealing for Mac users who want a very sharp 32-inch display. The tradeoff is 60 Hz, which is fine for productivity but less attractive if you want a high-refresh gaming monitor.
For static office work, the U3224KB's 224 PPI 6K panel is sharper and can make spreadsheets and text look noticeably cleaner. The U3225QE's 120 Hz refresh is better for gaming or motion-heavy use, while 60 Hz is generally fine for word processing and productivity.
Yes. HDMI 2.1 or DisplayPort 2.1 is needed to prioritize the highest 6K@60Hz quality; USB-C is limited to DisplayPort 1.4 and may use DSC compression. DSC is typically imperceptible, but it is still a tradeoff, especially if you daisy-chain a second display.

specs looks great for the price i think, but the aesthetic....i'm usually not one to fret too much about form as long as the function is good...but this monitor is ugly af.

60hz is also brutal. Once you use a high refresh rate monitor, 60hz feels like the stone age.
