Plenty of HDMI ports to hook up a computer with that type of output. The 1920x1080 resolution is good for PCs too. The TV speakers will be decent for sound if you don't have something else.

Likely yes but TVs don't generally turn on/off automatically along with your computer the way monitors do, and may have its own power saving features you might want to adjust. I generally just recommend monitors as, well, monitors.

Back in my day we used to have to press this little button to turn it off.It was really difficult. Especially walking uphill both ways in the snow to do it.Then they invented the remote, but pressing those buttons is hard too!What a time to be alive! The FUTURE!!!

Sure, it's a trivial quality of life thing, just wanted to point it out. Monitors work the way they do for a reason (mainly to be controlled by the computer), and so do TVs (mainly to be controlled by a remote and by its own software). Thank you for your helpful contribution!

i bought the 32 inch 1080p Insignia fire tv's. And I love the size, and how light weight these are. I don't have hisense in this size, but I have had good experiences with hisense and insignia tv's.

I use one of my 32 inch 1080p in my bedroom, and have 4 secruity cams on that tv, so I see what is going on outside my house.
I check weather on it, and have linux pc plugged into one of hdmi ports. Now, this tv is about 3 foot on side table, next to my commander chair, in front of me is 55 hisense 4k tv, with MAC MINI m4 attached to it, to watch movies, surf the net, plex, and other stuff.

4:4:4 chroma subsampling is the key feature to identify.

Disregard the earlier comment regarding resolution. When I migrated off a Sony Trinitron to a flat panel I'd found that a 32" 1080p LCD was the perfect choice to retain comparable pixel size to my preferred resolution on my 21" CRT (1152 x 864). Of course, I'm incredibly nearsighted...

It should as a standard feature that virtually all TV's have had for the last decade or longer but check the hisense site for similar models. Also w Costco you can return for 90 days for any reason if this 32 inch set doesn't work for you.

Oh no. This will be a deal breaker for me. 90% of my usage will be browsing, office work and reading. If the Text is blurry, it's too bad.
I wasn't as concerned about the resolution as I wouldn't be consuming digital video media on this monitor.
I ordered this. Now I need to cancel my order before it ships. Thanks for the heads up on this important limitation.
