Even if they're the best alkaline batteries around, and they may be, almost $10 for sixteen doesn't seem to make sense to me.
If an application demands the best, get disposable lithiums (a little over $1 per cell with some shopping, occasionally less on sale). If not, get any of a number of quality, much cheaper alkaline brands, just not Duraleak.
ProjectFarm tested a bunch of AA lithium disposables and AA alkalines, FWIW Energizer Max was the highest capacity alkaline, but all lithiums beat all the alkalines... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7eloV0mp6CE
And of course, most applications can use rechargeable NiMH battieries anyway. But that's another discussion. For disposables, go cheap or go lithium IMO.
