Any recommendation ? im about to setup my home network, i think this could be a great addition, let me know any insight guys
If you need PoE+ to power access points/cameras or want centralized VLAN management, it's a decent choice, but it lacks 2.5Gbps ports (a biggie for me) and 10G uplinks for fast file transfers. It's also managed and unless you're really into networking, that's just unnecessary. I'd go for something like the TRENDnet TEG-S50204 for a little more.
omada managed switches are nice, i ended up buying a bunch of used smaller switches before pivoting to a larger used 24port omada switch without poe and an 4poe / 8 port omada poe switch, and had to get POE injectors too since i needed more. tbh with what i purchased it added up to about this much.
If you need POE and have a house wired for ethernet, this is a nice very future proof device. and the omada management is great IMO. i prefer it to unifi personally. i use their access points for wifi as well, even though i run my own firewall (router)
