Vine gives every incentive to leave a review as quickly as possible -- not to say in general Amazon reviews won't also skew towards date-of-purchase. That generally encourages manufacturers to make good looking products that don't last long, which is a common problem with expandable hoses.

Just buy a good quality hose that will last forever, like Eley.

These shrink hoses last one or two seasons depending on how much usage you have. And then they fail.

I haven't tried this particular brand/model but the expandable water hoses are the way to go. I was skeptical at first but since I bought one a few months ago, I'm never going back to the regular rubber hoses.

Get back to us a year from now and see if you feel the same way. As others have said, none of these expandable hoses last. They always start springing leaks within a year or two.

Too many options! I have not purchased a highly needed water hose bc I cannot make up my mind. The moment I saw this water hose in 150ft for the price I immediately thought this was it. Problem is the mixed opinions of its durability, functionality, reliability,etc... I live on an acre of land the country in TX. Purpose as a garden hose to water the grass, car washing, wash the deck, fill up a not so big pool. Length between 120-150 feet will do. Any suggestions I'd appreciate them. It will allow me to narrow down my options, Ty.

These expandable hoses are really useful but don't expect them to last more than 2 seasons. I bring them inside during winter but the heat and sun during the summer will degrade the internal rubber lining.

I've been using these for years and highly prefer them to the big, heavy regular hoses.
The tradeoff for the convenience is the engineered obsolescence. I've gotten no more than 3-4 years out of one these days. I'm fine with it apparently because I keep repurchasing since they're so nice to use

I have one 50-ft hose like this for more than 5 years already. I don't use it often, and I store it inside the garage when I am not using it. I just used it last weekend for car washing. My next door neighbbor also has one. When not using it, he just hangs it on a hook in front of his garage door. I kind of like this kind of hose for easy management.
