Anyone know if this uses a led light when it's activated? Some of these do that. I prefer not to shine led light on my food until more research has come out

It seems hard to grind black pepper because the grinding teeth don't bite pepper seeds easily. I often had to shake a lot before biting happened.

I love mine but after 3 months of heavy use on peppercorns the bottom has broken and so the grind size has become random.
I think that might actually be better for me personally, but I am going to get it covered by Amazon warranty if I can
