It's a soft cover. Better than no cover.

For those who want to know, which should be everyone, that is the answer. It's in the pictures when you scroll down.

Before the snark hits:
No, I was not "expecting" it to have a hard cover at this price. But the title certainly gave me hope.

The pics included here did not determine otherwise. So this might just save someone from clicking to find out.

Thumbs up for this deal.

Looks like Sams Club is getting an early start this year. Usually the first week of August is when grills, patio furniture, etc go on sale/clearance to make room for the Halloween stuff.

The metal side shelves fold up to cover the top, and the soft cover goes over that. I have this and its a great deal for this price. Its not really practical for solo meals since its kind of a pain to clean when done cooking, but excellent for groups...

I have the 22" ? (2-burner, tabletop) model--3 yrs now). I did have to polish down the surface to get a smoother finish and season it quite intensely the first time. Since then, it's worked perfectly. It's perched on a Harbor Freight cart with a 2' x 2' porcelain ceramic tile for a cover. I'm considering this deal. It's showing $139. 91 right now for pick-up. I was just in Sam's Club (45 miles away) this morning but too hurried to browse.

I got this for free from a local buy nothing group and rehabbed the surface. I only have a stainless steel insert for a grill to compare it to but this griddle heats up quickly and evenly and is super awesome! In comparison to a blackstone, the location of the grease trap is much better per my reading of people's complaints. The grease pull out drawer fits a foil liner that you can easily remove to process or toss. When this eventually dies, I'll take a good look at membership just so I can get another of these.

I bought one of these last year. I like it, though I do not use it as much as I thought I would. Make sure you follow the instructions for seasoning and use avocado oil. Keep it oiled. You see a lot of these on marketplace that are rusted over because people don't maintain them. Honestly it's kind of a high maintenance item. One tip when you're seasoning, the burners don't reach the far corner so if you have a propane torch and you're anal and want an even color. If you're in the market, for $148 it's a no brainer.

We bought this griddle last year when it went on end-of-season sale. I've been happy with it thus far. Smashburgers and breakfasts have been the primary use, and it's worked fine. There have been no issues, I have no complaints. Johnny Brunet has been a useful resource to get up to speed on the basics of griddling.
