I have one. It only has one brightness level and it lasts 6-8hours. The on/off button is flush to the body and impossible to find in the dark and you have to hold it for 2 seconds to turn on and off. Aside from those negatives, it still works well in that one mode and the telescope neck is handy. It's an ok deal imo👌

This collapsible camping lantern stands out for its telescoping neck and simple tent lighting, with claimed runtimes of about 50 hours on low and 6 hours on high. The light can work well in a single mode, but brightness is not adjustable, and the on and off button is flush and hard to find in the dark. It also runs bulky, with only one charging port, and the plastic build has been described as flimsy. A compact light for basic use, but not the most refined option.

Common Questions (5)

  • It is reported to have only one light mode, while the product listing also states low and high brightness settings. The practical takeaway is to verify the exact model before buying, since some units are described as single-mode and others as having two brightness levels.

    PowerfulHome776Simon24AquaIdea9357

  • It is described as too bright for pitch-black camping by one user, while others found it not bright enough and a bit bulky or huge. That means its size and output may be less comfortable for campers who want a compact, dimmable lantern.

    Simon24BraveLeopard136kikicoco1334

  • Runtime is reported at about 6-8 hours in use, and the listing also states 50 hours on low and 6 hours on high. That makes it suitable for short trips or emergency use, but not for long multi-night lighting on high output.

    PowerfulHome776AquaIdea9357

  • The on/off button is flush with the body and reportedly hard to find in the dark, and it requires a 2-second hold to turn on or off. The telescoping neck is handy, but the control layout can be inconvenient at night.

    PowerfulHome776

  • The seller is listed as a small business with only 59 lifetime seller ratings. That suggests a limited track record compared with larger established sellers.

It states that it has low & high brightness. Low 50 hours & high 6 hours.

It's not very good. Brightness is not adjustable only light mode. It was too bright for camping when it's pitch black outside.
It has two modes, low & high. Wouldn't you want a bright light in the pitch black unless less you're hiding out from someone or something.

The BougeRV light is bomb. I've had it about a year. Every one is jealous whenever I get it out. I spend a fair amount of days living out of a canvas tent and bouncing the light off the walls is hands down the best tent lighting you'll ever experience. Yeah, bold claim but I'll stick to it. Oh and hanging it in a canopy with the lights reflecting off the canopy... chef's kiss
